A spacious and clean room offered a comfortable stay for our family of four. Enjoying breakfast by the pool was a highlight, and the staff was notably friendly, enhancing our experience. However, the GPS directions were misleading, making us drive in the wrong direction initially, and additional signage could help future guests. Also, while the breakfast had several healthy options, more variety would be appreciated.

i had a wonderful stay at the ascend hotel! my room was clean and charming, complete with two comfy queen beds and a futon. the pool area was super inviting, too! breakfast by the pool was a real treat, especially with friendly staff around to help. plus, it’s located close to the more peaceful parts away from the busy downtown area.
the lighting was a bit harsh near the bed, and the fire pit was broken, which was disappointing.

We had a fantastic time with our large family of 20. The breakfast options were a real treat, featuring homemade hot burritos and waffles, and the pool area was inviting and perfect for our gatherings. Plus, the staff ensured our stay was cozy and well cared for.
In my wife’s opinion, the ice machine was a little tricky to reach.

I really loved the cozy jacuzzi tub and the fireplace in our room during our two-night stay! The heated pool and lounge area were just perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The only bummer was the slightly higher price, but trust me, it's worth it for the experience! 😊

Highs and lows for the travelers
The staff is super friendly, like, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I was really impressed with the free breakfast, they had these homemade breakfast burritos you just dont see in other places. It’s like they wanted to spoil us with good food, ya know?
The price was a bit on the pricey side but I guess you pay for the experience.

I had a good time enjoying the complimentary breakfast. It provided a standard selection that was enough to kickstart my day. After long days exploring, the outdoor area allowed for a nice spot to unwind and take in the surroundings. As I am used to different accommodations in Europe, the quiet at night was a welcome surprise for me. My partner appreciates the American road trip aspect of our travels, and this place fit in well with that.
The room had issues with ventilation, making it stuffy, and we ended up with headaches in the morning. Also, some noise from nearby rooms was noticeable at times.
