However, the GPS directions were misleading, making us drive in the wrong direction initially, and additional signage could help future guests. Also, while the breakfast had several healthy options, more variety would be appreciated.

i had a wonderful stay at the ascend hotel! my room was clean and charming, complete with two comfy queen beds and a futon. the pool area was super inviting, too! breakfast by the pool was a real treat, especially with friendly staff around to help. plus, it’s located close to the more peaceful parts away from the busy downtown area.

the lighting was a bit harsh near the bed, and the fire pit was broken, which was disappointing.

The staff is super friendly, like, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I was really impressed with the free breakfast, they had these homemade breakfast burritos you just dont see in other places. It’s like they wanted to spoil us with good food, ya know?

As I am used to different accommodations in Europe, the quiet at night was a welcome surprise for me. My partner appreciates the American road trip aspect of our travels, and this place fit in well with that.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free parking, outdoor swimming pool, and friendly staff. On my first stay, they gave great currency tips. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed experience. I'll be back for Easter!
